Family

Well, I guess I can start by saying that I have a great family at home. Other than that, I have no other family that I am close to. My mom's sister died last week and I didn't even get to pay my respects. They all live in Pittsburgh and my brothers drove up and didn't even offer to take me or my kids with them. Its not about that, we could have followed them up there, but they didn't even ask. I don't drive in the city, so I could not have done it alone. But most of my family don't care about me and my kids, so I told them straight out, I am done I don't need them. I am the middle child and have always been overlooked and forgotten about, but thats fine, I have my kids and that is all that matters. My dad and stepmother haven't always seen eye to eye, but they weren't welcome to my aunt's funeral and that is sad, because families should stick together, not be torn apart. But that's ok I am fine with it. I have great friends, great kids and the boyfriend isn't too bad. I have school and work so I am good. Something else I would like to add is we bought my son Aaron tickets to a Bengals game and he went yesterday and he a blast. He was on cloud 9 and I am glad he enjoyed himself. He says he is going to go to another game. And I know that my other family don't appreciate me, but I know my kids do and I enjoy doing things for my kids.
