It is 2:10 pm I just got out of the shower and I am getting ready to go to my crappy job that I hate. It used to be fun to go to work, now it sucks but what can I do. I am taking online classes and they seem to be getting harder and there is more work involved. I am falling behind, I turn my work in late, there is just not enough time in the week to get it all done. I feel like just giving up, sometimes I think it would be easier. I just don't know if I am cut out for this college stuff. Then I think about my Wonderful Job!!!, a little sarcasm there, and that makes me want to finish this even more, but sometimes I just think I am not getting it. What to do, what to do. I guess I will figure it out soon enough.

Hi Amy
ReplyDeleteI am sorry I haven't contacted you sooner. You are in my assigned group. I settled in and have contacted the other ladies in our group (Kathy, Karen, you, and myself). I was going to try to start being more interactive with us in the group last week but with all the snow and school being closed for the kids I kinda got back tracked. I'm sorry to hear your having a tough go at it right now. Please don't be discouraged those are feelings we all get when things may get or seem to be closing in on us. How about you telling me your schedule and when you are available, to maybe go over somethings about our class. Do you have Skype? I just got it this semester and it is free and easy. All you need to buy is a mic and a webcam (some webcams come with a mic already). I got it at walmart both for 36 dollars total. I think its a great tool for online school. Kathy and myself have used it often. Anyway my schedule is 9AM, after the kids go to school till 430PM when they get back and then maybe a few hours after 8PM. Let me know and please dont give up, I've already had some of my classmates from other or prior classes hang up the gloves. I saw their potential because of how they absorbed the information and were able to help me out so much. So please if you can get a hold of me and maybe we can get the grades and attitude turned around young lady, OK? OK :o) I'm sure the others in our group would love to help also, I'll run it by them. Your classmate,
E. Bruno Keep your head up.
i completely agree with what Bruno states my aim is kat82dm. If you have any questions please email me. I completely understand my mother is a mother of five and she worked full time and she went to schools is hard but you can do it. Just keep your eye the prize.!!
ReplyDeleteThings are obviously overwhelming for you right now, Amy, but I hope you'll realize that many of us are in the same boat with you. School on top of many responsibilities requires that we organize, designate mundane chores to others who can assist us, and not be afraid or indulge ourselves with massive amounts of guilt when we have to say "no" to something. I sure hope that you can bear with things to stay in school because the investment you have already made is a worthwhile one! Truly! From the sounds of it, unhappiness in your current job situation is another wonderful reason to persist in finishing school to do something more fulfilling! As an often exhausted, overworked mother of 4, I salute you and sincerely hope you can rise above it all....good luck..chrissy
ReplyDeleteGood morning Amy. I haven't seen you blogging and do hope all is well. I just want you to know that I will continually extend my hand should you need help or advise or ecouragement. I know this isn't an easy task especially with all that on your plate but you do have classmates that would like to help in any way. Hope to talk with you soon. :o)
